These sessions start in January for the June board exam and in late July/early August for the December board exam.

Basic Science Recertification Program $500 per person
Course consists of one class per week for 10 weeks
A total of 40 credit hours

The Basic Science Class will include:
Test taking skills, anatomical terms, skeletal system, articulations & muscle
tissue, muscular system, CNS & PNS, cardiovascular, endocrine, lymphatic,
respiratory, & GI systems and more. There will be a test every week.

Limited Branch Recertification Program $500 per person
Course consists of one class per week for 10 weeks
A total of 40 credit hours
Will only be scheduled if enough people indicate need for this section.

The Limited Branch Class will include:
Medical terms, metabolic, mechanical, and reflex, seven procedures, physiologic
effects, therapeutic applications, indications & contraindications, and more.
There will be 2 exams and the final exam.


Additional things you need to know:

***ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY!! You MUST attend EVERY class session to complete the required hours for this program! A grade point average of 85% or higher will be required to pass each course and be eligible to sit for the State Medical Board of Ohio Exam.
A pre-test will be given on the first day of class to help the instructor assess the strengths and weaknesses of the students. Pre-test scores do not count towards the grade point average. A minimum number of six students is required for each class or the class will be canceled.

This recertification program has been approved through the State Medical Board of Ohio. Upon successful completion of the course you will receive a Certification of Competency and be eligible to apply to retake the State Board exam.
